Course Description

Madrasah at Jamiyah is a vibrant and nurturing institution dedicated to the holistic development of young minds. For students aged 7 to 16, it offers a structured and comprehensive religious education program. The dynamic curriculum is meticulously designed to instill a deep understanding of core Islamic subjects, including Tauhid (Monotheism), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Sirah (Prophetic Biography), and Akhlaq (Ethics). Beyond theoretical knowledge, the program emphasizes practical application, with a strong focus on Solat (Prayer) and Qur’an literacy, empowering students to integrate their learning into their daily lives and foster a strong, personal connection to their faith.

Who is This Program for?

This Madrasah Program is ideal for young Muslim students between the ages of 7 to 16.

Your Learning Outcomes

By the end of the programme, students will be able to: 

  • Understand core Islamic subjects: Tauhid, Fiqh, Sirah, and Akhlaq
  • Perform Solah confidently and correctly
  • Read, recite, and memorise the Qur’an with proper tajweed
  • Demonstrate good character and moral values
  • Apply Islamic knowledge in daily life
  • Pursue further Islamic studies beyond post-secondary level

  • Minimum: 1 Year 
  • Maximum: 3 Years 
  • Programme is structured for annual progression in order for students to complete all 3 years  
  • Students can either be enrolled in Weekly Sessions (once a week), or Daily Sessions (Monday – Friday)

  • One-time registration fee: $32.70

  • Monthly Fees: $70.85 (with Qur’anic Literacy) / $38.15 (without Qur’anic Literacy)

Admission Requirements

  • No prerequisites for Asas 1
  • Placement into other levels will be based on an assessment of the student’s suitability. 

Future Pathways

  • Sijil Pengajian Islam (SPI). A one-year foundational Islamic studies programme offered by Jamiyah Academy, designed to prepare learners for diploma-level studies.

  • Diploma in Islamic-related Studies with partnered institutions. Offered in collaboration with UNIMEL and IIC, enabling students to advance their Islamic education in areas such as Syariah, Usuluddin, and Arabic.
