History
Jamiyah Academy is the educational platform of Jamiyah Singapore, an NGO founded in 1932 by Moulana Abdul Aleem Siddique. He was a respected scholar and peace ambassador from India. His vision was simple: to serve people with compassion, regardless of race or faith.
Over the years, Jamiyah has grown into one of Singapore’s leading community organisations, offering care homes, free medical and legal clinics, food distribution through its FoodBank, and elderly care via the Jamiyah Nursing Home (Darul Syifaa), to name a few.
More than a platform, Jamiyah Academy is an Islamic-driven learning institution established to shape future-ready leaders grounded in strong values of Islam. It emphasises character, resilience, and responsibility, preparing students not just for success in school, but for meaningful contributions to society and community.
